My plan is to trace the pictures the best I can and arrange them in a pattern.
I found pictures of butterfly and sketched them out.

Why did you pick the product you did?
I picked redesigning a book cover because it seemed fun and a good way to put a twist on something I like. How did you design your piece? Tell me your process. First, I decided what book I should do. Second, practiced with different brushes on the computer while designing the package. Last, I printed the cover out and taped it on to the book. What is most successful about your design? I think my biggest success in this project is how much I learned about Adobe while creating it. If you could change anything about the piece, what would you do and why? I would make the pages fit the book better and make the tape less noticeable. What element is traditional medium and how did you use this element?
My traditional element was the sketch for the gingerbread house and the decorations around it. Explain your process and how you came up with the idea. First, I came up with several different Christmas words and decided that gingerbread house was my favorite. Next, I sketched out the house and transferred it onto the computer. Last, I colored it on the computer and added words. What would made it difficult? The hardest part about the project was coming up with an idea. I didn't know what to do for a long time. What did you find successful about your piece? The best part about the piece is how quickly I finished while still making it look decent with very little time to finish. |
